Document Delivery Specialist with Medtronic


The Medtronic Knowledge Center, located at our operational headquarters in Fridley Minnesota, is looking for someone to deliver electronic literature to employees.  This is a temporary, part time (approximately 20 hours per week), competitively paid position requiring availability during the M- F workday, starting in January 2017. POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Job Summary: Process document delivery requests using a collection of subscribed publications and order documents from an external vendor as needed.


May include any and/or all of the following:


  1. Processes document delivery requests for journal articles and book chapters.

  2. Verify citations in a variety of databases as appropriate.

  3. Check copyright permissions.

  4. Data entry.

  5. Provide support services as needed.

  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS


  • Demonstrated attention to detail

  • High degree of accuracy in detail-oriented environment

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to operate personal computer with various software programs

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Customer service experience

  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, interpersonal, and social
     
    EDUCATION REQUIRED  (No equivalencies)

  • High School Diploma; supplemented with at least one (1) year of related college coursework

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Experience in Word, Excel
